Invasive Weed Cleanup on the River Trail Sat Dec 7th 10am to 3pm

Details
Greetings fellow volunteers!
We'll start at the Frenchy's Footbridge and work our way down the trail towards Siler. We'll be removing mostly Kochia and Russian Thistle (aka tumbleweeds). This is an opportunity to learn how to identify these pesky weeds if you're not familiar with them.
The time frame is open-ended, come when you like, stay for as long as you'd like, no need to stay for the entire time.
This event is being held in co-operation with Full Circle Santa Fe, a local non-profit, which has a contract with the City of Santa Fe to remove invasive trees and weeds from the River and River Trail, as well as erosion control and re-seeding of native wildflowers and grasses,

As well as the Santa Fe Watershed Association

Bring your hat, gloves and water.
You can park at Frenchy's Field parking lot at 2001 Agua Fria St and walk to the footbridge from there, or you can park on Via Manzana (see pin below). Or ride your bike if you live in the area.
Come help us show our wonderful River Trail some love!
