Invasive Weed Cleanup on the River Trail Wed June 11th 8am to 11am

Details
Hi friends!
We will be doing another weed cleanup along the River Trail near Frenchy's Bridge. After all of the wonderful rains we've been getting the weeds are taking over! We'll be removing mostly Kochia and Russian Thistle (aka tumbleweeds) as well as foxtail, goathead, flixweed and more. This is an opportunity to learn how to identify these pesky weeds if you're not familiar with them as well as what to do with them (i.e. do they need to be thrown out or can they be left on the ground? Come and find out!)
Come when you can, stay for as long as you'd like.
This event is being held in co-operation with The City of Santa Fe and Full Circle Santa Fe, a local non-profit, which has a contract with the City of Santa Fe to remove invasive trees and weeds from the River and River Trail.

So bring your favorite weeding tools, hats. gloves and water, snacks and sunscreen.
We will meet at the Frenchy's Footbridge and work our way down the trail.
You can park at Frenchy's Field parking lot at 2001 Agua Fria St and walk to the footbridge from there, or you can park on Via Manzana (see pin below). Or ride your bike if you live in the area. Call or text (505)930-2298 if you have any trouble finding us.
Come help us show our wonderful River Trail some love!
