Invasive Weed Removal along the Santa Fe River - Sunday June 15th - 8am to 11am

Details

After all the wonderful rains, the weeds are thriving. We'll be removing Kochia and Russian Thistle (aka tumbleweeds), along with foxtail, goathead, flixweed, cheatgrass, bindweed and more! This is an opportunity to learn how to identify these pesky weeds if you're not familiar with them, as well as what to do with them once they've been removed.

Come when you can, stay for as long as you'd like.

This event is being held in co-operation The City of Santa Fe, Full Circle Santa Fe: https://www.fullcirclesf.org/ and Friends of the Santa Fe River: https://www.friendsofthesantaferiver.org/

We will meet at the waterfall near the corner of East Alameda and Camino Escondido. Park near 113 Camino Escondido (where East Alameda is a dirt road) or near 609 East Alameda (where East Alameda is a paved street).

So bring your favorite weeding/gardening tools, hat, gloves and water and sunscreen (and maybe bug repellent!) and come help us show our wonderful Santa Fe River some love! Text or call (505)930-2298 if you have any trouble finding us.
