Invasive Weed Removal on the River Trail - Sat April 25th, 9am to noon

Hello fellow weeding enthusiasts!

It's time for another big weed removal project! Please join us in helping to restore our river trail and river corridor by removing invasive species. This time we will be focusing mainly on Kochia as well as some Russian Thistle. This is a great opportunity to learn about invasive species and how to identify them.

We'll start at the corner of Calle Don Jose and Santa Fe River Rd. Park across the street from 1729 Santa De River Rd.

Please bring your favorite weeding tools, hat. gloves and water. Wear long sleeves and long pants, as the weeds can be quite prickly! And bring a hard rake if you have one. I'll have some loaner gloves, tools, buckets, tarps and rakes. Please come for as long as you'd like, no need to stay for the entire 3 hours.
