Sunday Volleyball, Limited courts, East Beach @ 1:30 PM

Santa Barbara is still under revised masking and social distancing guidelines for vaccinated and un-vaccinated individuals. Enjoy the day's play, respect and be sensitive of everyone's personal space.

There isn't any designated host for our events, Ask for the "Santa Barbara Beach Volleyball" volleyball group or for Greg (SBBV). Do not judge our attendance by the RSVP's to this event as our regular member attendance on any play day is from 10-45+.

To make your arrival go smoothly and without any confusion feel free to contact us way in advance. You can download our East Beach court map in the Pictures section so that you know before hand where to go to, when we announce the court number that we have secured upon first arrival. Try to avoid late messaging as we may likely be on court playing and we may not be able to respond in time. You can also try contacting Greg, Admin/Organizer.

We are also on "Facebook Groups" under the same group name.

Just like our Saturday play, some advanced regulars start their day arriving around 8AM and may leave or stay throughout the day. No set pattern or confirmed turnout of players/members. However as far as this event, it's safe to say that the other regular members arrive to play from approximately 1 PM through to the end of the day.
First to arrive are kindly asked to post the court # and location (Row/Across from the car park), upon arrival. We normally choose a free court within the first 4 rows zone from the far left side of East beach. Courts 15,13,11 and 9. We usually go for court #13. Ask for me Greg upon arrival and if I'm not there yet just get settled in with the others, they will fill in for me until I arrive. Bring your friends too!, sufficient drinking water, swimwear, and perhaps some sand socks if its a really hot day out.

Free Parking: There is some free street parking (Park BACK-IN only or you're be ticketed) along E Cabrillo Blvd beside the courts but it usually fills up quickly, there are also some at Ninos Dr (your next best spot) and at South Milpas St.

Paid Parking: There are also pay spots next to the courts & beach, the closest pay lot is on both sides of the Cabrillo Pavilion beach building just across from the Mar Monte Hotel - Hyatt.

Restrooms, Outdoor showers and restaurant: At the Cabrillo Pavilion building

The volleyball courts and picnic area are just east of the Cabrillo Pavilion bldg East parking lot. A small bridge will lead you there from the parking lot to the volleyball courts.
