This is a socializing hike to explore in beautiful and exciting nature, and get a great workout. The Shell Beach coastline is very scenic and exciting to explore. The views from Ontario Ridge of the ocean and residential area below are quite spectacular. Some areas of the trail going up and coming down the ridge are quite steep, up to 40 degrees, giving some significant workouts.
