Montaña de Oro State Park is an area that is relatively pristine and scenic. I expect this area would be even more gorgeous after the recent rains.
This exploring adventure starts from the beautiful Spooner’s Cove and the Pacific Ocean. Then following Valencia Peak Trail, Oats Peak Trail, Alan Peak Trail to MDO 3 Peaks. On the descent, we would take Coon Creek Trail & very scenic Bluff Trail back to Spooner’s Cove for sunsetting.
This would be a relatively strenuous workout in beautiful nature, with a great sense of accomplishment.
