🏞️🌄 Lizard's Mouth & the Playground Rock Garden

Both Lizard's Mouth Rock and the Playground Rock Garden is a wonderful maze of vast sandstone outcroppings, with unique vegetation of various manzanitas and oaks, growing among the boulders. The forces of wind and water have created numerous caves, crevices and distinctive landscapes that are very fascinating to explore, hike, rock hop, and climb.
These areas have some of the best views of the Santa Barbara area, overseeing the Santa Barbara Airport, Goleta, Channel Islands, and the Pacific coastlines.

This hike would be done at leisure exploring pace, and rock hopping or climbing is optional. 🏞️🌿🌞🌄 Overall, this hike would be a fascinating exploring adventure and great workout in some of the most beautiful and distinctive natural environments.
