A Short Talk, Group Practice, and Then Card Reading

First a brief talk:

For this meeting, we'll have a very brief presentation of some basic aspects of cartomancy (reading playing cards) and its relationship to reading tarot. The purpose is to facilitate intuitive development. This first part will touch on observing patterns in three-card spreads relating to color - black (Spades and Clubs) and red (Hearts and Diamonds). There are eight possible color combinations of black and red playing cards in a three-card draw. This talk will be expanded next month to include suit and number patterns.

2nd, a warmup!

Then we will do a group story spread as a warm-up to reading cards for each other and guests. This game is always popular and fun!

Then we'll read cards!

Then we will read for each other and guests. Bring your questions and we will provide inspired answers. Are you new to reading cards or unsure? No worries; we will show you how! Anyone, including guests, who have questions will write them down on a slip of paper. The questions can be anonymous. We will shuffle the questions face down and each person who wants to read for questions will get one or more of them. Please bring guests and questions important to you. Guidance will be provided, and participation is encouraged, but is optional.

We will meet at the Center of the Heart in the main Sanctuary. This is a great meeting space filled with high spiritual energy and lots of parking!

Bring your favorite decks. I will have a few spare decks for anyone needing one.

Do you have a friend or partner who would like a reading? Bring them along with an extra $5! Guests are extremely welcome! Just indicate the number of guests you are bringing when you RSVP.

All levels of tarot card reading expertise are welcome in this safe and nurturing environment. Bring your decks! Tarot, oracle, and other types of card reading systems are welcome.
