Cartomancy Suits, Group Practice, and Then Card Reading

Topic: We will have a brief talk building on the discussion from our last meeting on cartomancy (reading playing cards).

Our topic will be a brief presentation of more of the basic aspects of cartomancy (reading playing cards) and its relationship to reading tarot. The purpose is to facilitate our receptivity and intuitive development. This second part will move on from our binary observation of the meaning of red vs. black cards and will incorporate the suits. If time permits, we will also talk about number patterns. Otherwise, this will be covered at our meeting next month.

2nd, a warmup!

We will explore a tarot spread I have found to be particularly helpful for clients who say they do not have a question or, more likely, are guarded in their interaction with you. It's more than an ice breaker and can be extremely useful.

Then we'll read cards!

Then we will read for each other and guests. Bring your questions and we will provide inspired answers. Are you new to reading cards or unsure? No worries: we will show you how! Anyone, including guests, who have questions will write them down on a slip of paper. The questions can be anonymous. We will shuffle the questions face down and each person who wants to read for questions will get one or more of them. Please bring guests and questions important to you. Guidance will be provided, and participation is encouraged, but is optional.

We will meet at the Center of the Heart in the main Sanctuary. This is a great meeting space filled with supportive spiritual energy and lots of parking!

Bring your favorite decks. I will have a few spare decks for anyone needing one.

Do you have a friend or partner who would like a reading? Bring them along with an extra $5! Guests are extremely welcome! Just indicate the number of guests you are bringing when you RSVP.
