August Dance Social and Orphanage Fundraiser

Some of us enjoyed a visit to an Orphanage in Oaxaca, Mexico last month. We made sure all the donations, gifts, and clothes were personally delivered to the children. Thanks to our dear friend and dancer Cristina Hernandez, a realtor in the Santa Clarita Valley area, who did an incredible job as organizer of the last trip, we hope to do it again next year (Summer 2026).

Thanks to all of you- we will continue to support Casa Hogar in Oaxaca and we look forward to adding an Indonesian Orphanage to support as well. We may have a group trip planned to Bali Indonesia in Summer 2026.

The cover charge is $25 at the door or $20 Early Bird fee to help rent the hall.

WE ARE ASKING YOU TO JOIN US IN SUPPORT OF THESE ORPHANS, starting with LA Dance Connection donating all funds raised at this Dance social to this worthy cause. We will also have a silent auction for items such as private dance instruction, meals, gun training (in case you didn't get a meal and are grumpy), personal care, etc.

Lionel is teaching from 7:00-8:00 pm beginner Salsa and who knows what else he might have as a surprise.

And then WE PARTY. Social dancing until 11:00 pm. He will mostly play Salsa with a bit of Bachata, Cumbia, Timba, and Merengue, etc. thrown in.

A great opportunity to practice, meet wonderful people, and bring our energy together. We usually have over 50-75 in attendance. o partner is required.
