Valentine's Day Dance Social and Orphanage Fundraiser

Valentine's Day is a time to both give and receive Love.

Our dance community thinks globally, as well as locally. Last year we generously supported an orphanage in Mexico. This year our focus is on an orphanage in Jackarta, Indonesia. We don't want the world's children to be forgotten, as they will be experiencing suffering that lasts longer than the time to rebuild a house wiped out by floods.

Lional and Yenny have developed a relationship with a great children's home in Indonesia, and you can help.

WE ARE ASKING YOU TO JOIN US IN SUPPORT OF THESE ORPHANS, starting with LA Dance Connection, who is donating all funds raised at this Dance social to this worthy cause. We will also have a silent auction for items such as private dance instruction, personal training, restaurant meals, personal care, etc.

Lionel is teaching from 7:00-8:00 pm a beginner Salsa lesson. Then, a dance team performance is rumored. And then WE PARTY. Social dancing until 11:00 pm. He will mostly play Salsa and Bachata, with some Cumbia, Timba, Cha Cha, and Merengue, etc. thrown in.

A great opportunity to practice, meet wonderful people, and bring our energy together. We usually have over 60-75 in attendance. There will be snacks and drinks.

No partner is required. Teens and young adults are welcome.

The cover charge is $30 to help rent the hall. Our favorite and funny Lionel Araya is teaching a beginner Salsa Class at 7:00, so don't be late.

Where?- To The Pointe Studio at 23120 Lyons Ave, Newhall CA.
