Discussion on the California Fires
with Live presentation by Kevin Collins
Recent fires in California left many dead and thousands homeless. How is this possible; with today’s advanced firefighting technology, prevention techniques and early warning systems? Join us for first-hand accounts of witnesses and firefighters to investigate how this disaster came to pass.
Kevin Collins is a conservation advocate and an expert on matters of forest conservation policy.
Recently, Mr. Collins has extensively researched the technical reasons for electric utility wildfire ignitions. He has a Docketed Complaint pending before the CA Public Utilities Commission.

Santa Cruz Freedom Forum is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing an open forum for the discussion of current issues that may not be receiving adequate coverage in the mainstream media.
Freedom Forum is non-partisan, and not endorsed by nor does it endorse any political party. The topics of honest and effective government, sound monetary policies, an accountable foreign policy, are often at the table, as well as other aspects of politics that affect us all, whether it be on a local, national, or global level.
A most important part of our events is to provide a forum for people from all backgrounds to voice their concerns and opinions about different issues and network with others to take action. We believe that people can come together to unite on common issues of great importance rather than be divided by political party or minor issues.
Here is an example of unity across party lines on some big issues: "We Agree (http://www.votenader.org/weagree/)"
