HALF! 3-4 miles Santa Cruz Lighthouse to Lighthouse + optional dinner at Gildas

Come take a brisk walk along the ocean. We will start at the Santa Cruz Surfer Museum (it’s a lighthouse) and walk past the wharf, along the boardwalk, as if we were going to the Walton Lighthouse. BUT NO! I am still rehabing and am not ready for the whole trip. So we will turn at the HOT DOG ON A STICK stand and head back and out to the end of the pier. Some of us will have the Prime Rib special at Gildas before returning to our starting point at the Surfer Museum. Those who aren't participating in the dinner can walk directly back to the start. The walk without dinner should take about 2 hours.

Parking:

Lots C & D are across the street from the museum and are a few minutes walk away. There is also another parking lot just past the museum on the right heading from downtown. Leave plenty of time to find parking. There is also parking at the Surfer Museum.

Bathrooms are located between Lots C & D

Carpooling: Recommended, as lots tends to fill up quickly.
