Bolsa Chica is ideal for beginners since it has sand on the bottom

Directions from 405 (coming from Santa Monica going south):

Take Bolsa Chica Road exit and head south (it turns into Bolsa Chica St.).

Drive south on Bolsa Chica Rd/St. approx. 4 miles and make right on Warner Avenue.

Make left where Warner Ave ends (meets PCH highway).

Drive south on PCH approx. 1 mile and turn right into parking lot.
