What we’re about
Ever since I was first called upon to step up as organizer for the group I have pondered the way in which to lead the group as there are many dining , dancing & socializing type groups and event's to choose from. I wanted to be able to offer my membership enough unique features to generate the excitement needed to motivate you to participate and that's why I have been experimenting with the various venues and themes in order to gauge the group's interests.
Please allow me to point out various salient features that makes this group quite different while other group's are age defined SSD&D does not discriminate as ALL ages are welcomed.
Many of the group's cater to singles but we welcome both singles and couples so there's no need to drop out if you transition from one category to the other.
We are one of the few groups that is geographically defined as being in South Sarasota County as the majority of our members reside and socialize here in paradise.
We have no political party or religious institutional affiliations and all are welcome.
We do ask that you be responsible and utilize the RSVP system to keep it updated if unable to attend.
We have a very cute mascot Buddy the wonder dog!
