June Viewing Party

Fans of Doctor Who from all over the area come every 4th Monday of the month to watch some of their favorite show, talk about the latest news, and play some games.

At this month's meetup we will be watching the opening two episodes of the classic adventure, "The Invasion" (1969), written by Derrick Sherwin and starring Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor. It co-stars Fraser Hines as Jamie McCrimmon and Wendy Padbury as Zoe. UNIT appears for the very first time in this story, which also features the Cybermen.

We will also be watching the second episode of the two-parter from Series 9, "Before the Flood" (2015), written by Toby Whithouse. It is set on an underwater base in the year 2119 and stars Peter Capaldi as the (Twelfth) Doctor and Jenna Coleman as Clara.

As usual, we will have our Doctor Who news, trivia game, and a short business meeting afterward. If you have a friend that likes the show, please bring them along. And come hungry, because the restaurant needs us to eat there!
