Nietzsche’s “Thus Spake Zarathustra: the Prologue and Book I”

We will read the Prologue and maybe Book One of “Thus Spake Zarathustra”.

I recommend a recent translation by Kaufman or someone else but there are many older and free translations available in pdf online or in Apple Books. These can be awkward and sometimes mistaken, that is what I will be reading since I like using Apple Books and am cheap. However, i do have the Kaufmann version in paperback when I see something that seems off.

The main idea that I am interested in is Nietzsche as form of materialism that differed from Marx in many radical ways. This version is much more suitable for an individual in most walks of life rather than a political leader or activist.
