In the summer of 1996, I resolved to read this book and to take notes on it, summarizing each numbered section in a few lines each. This experience has stuck with me in all those years through all the different stages of my life's way. I made it all the way through during the summer, but finishing the book was just the beginning. I hope that this meetup will likewise be the start of something. Read as much or as little of this work as you wish; I would recommend that you focus on these parts:

  1. The Author's Preface.
  2. Chapter 1: "On the Prejudices of the Philosophers."
