We enter the fall season on the west gate of the Medicine Wheel, marking a time of completions, after the Harvest. What we have sown, we have reaped.

In the Western Gate we face the sunset, the time of withdrawal into the darkness of the night. It is a time of revaluation and give-always. It is called in Native American circles, the time of the "Looks Within". It asks us to withdraw into the silence within for answers and revelations, and to trust this process. This journey takes place around Halloween, a time when it is said that the veils between the worlds are thinnest. The question here arises, "who would you wish to meet and hold discourse with on the other side of this veil?

In Native American traditions, the Gate Keeper for the Fall time is the "Father of the Winds", the great Grizzly Bear. Old bear teaches us about "going within" as s/he prepares for hibernation. We can think of this time as a time for meditation, for withdrawing ourselves from the chaos of life. West is the home of the Thunder Beings and the element is Water. The color is of darkness of night, Black or Navy Blue. It is said that the wise ones, the guides, allies, and shaman stand behind the veil of this gate and rejoice when we ask for their help. This date is a very auspicious time for a Shaman Journey.

A SHAMAN JOURNEY is similar to guided meditation enhanced by the heart beat of the large mother drum. The Journey will take us down and out through the dimensions of our imagination where reality and dream time interweave into a perfect tapestry based on your own special rhythms, understandings and frequencies.

We travel together into our own shaman's dream for our own personal guidance and discovery. This is an adventure and exploration into realms where information, messages, connections and relationships magically unfold.

Through the reverberation of the drum, inner gateways of frequencies open our sub-conscious mind helping us access guides, totems and insights for healing and understanding according to our own individuals need.

The Journey itself is approximately 30 to 40 min. The rest is preparation and processing.
