Sardines #13 - Hybrid Edition

Dear Sardineers and fellow Ruby enthusiasts, ♦️

Sardines.rb, the Lisbon Ruby/Rails Meetup, is coming back on the 14th of October at 18h00 (WEST) and this time we will meet again in person! That's right, Runtime Revolution is hosting the event in our offices at Avenida da Igreja, 42, 9th floor, Lisbon. 🏢 If you got used to joining us remotely via Zoom don't worry 💻 ! You will still be able to do that! The best of both worlds!

In this first Hybrid edition we will have a talk by Daniel Magliola, Senior Staff Engineer @ Indeed Flex, and one of the speakers @ RailsConf 2021, entitled: "Do Regex dream of Turing Completeness?".

In this talk, Daniel will try to answer some questions like: What can Regexes actually do? How far can we push them? Can we implement actual logic with them?

The event starts at 18h (WEST) in our offices and via Zoom (link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87250544610?pwd=WFVTd2hsNy9lUmNXakJUTFJqNG5DQT09). The talk lasts for 30 min with a Q&A session of around 20 minutes.

We will supply pizza 🍕 and beer 🍻 for those of you that join us at our office. Those who join us via Zoom feel free to bring your own food and favorite beverage! 😉
