Looking for reasons to wear saree more and socialize with likeminded women who love this attire. Pair it up with Wine and Cheese, occasionally lunches and other events. Have some fun and most importantly free the saree from our closets in London Town.
My reason for starting this group is purely the love for the attire and to do something about not having enough opportunities to wear one in London Town

November Saree Club- Saree, Shayari Aur Gazal

These words ring true everyday. For us, at The Saree Club London, we have been craving for Shayari and Gazal evenings, now that we have found a way to wear our beloved Saree’s every month and meet up.
So, we found The Bakwaas Comedy Club—a trailblazing platform that has become the first-ever Hindi stage in the UK dedicated to not just stand-up comedy but also poetry, storytelling, and shayari. Bringing the charm of Indian spoken word to London’s heart.
It does not end there, DJ Ekkira will put on a South Asian-inspired set of electrifying beats to dance to after the poetic performance finish at 5:30 PM
Now on November 16th at The Raven, Tower Bridge, London at 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM.

And if you would like to perform, you will have an opportunity to enter your name in the draw at the start of the event. If your names is drawn you will have the mic and an opportunity to show your talent to a keen audience.
