Talks:
Leveling up on GraphQL
We have all heard that GraphQL is the future of API design. Let's spend some time going over the basics of how GraphQL works both from a client and server perspective. We will discuss some of the basics of querying and how to understand a schema as well as some implementation considerations such as asynchronous loading using promises to avoid N+1 issues. If we have time we will also discuss different approaches to supporting both a REST and GraphQL API.

Web Components: The Future of the Web, Today
What if I told you there's a way to build the last component library you'd ever need? Did you know that the technology has been around for several years? Let's explore how web components can be used in modern web applications.
