West Bank Hike - Meewasin Park to Chief Mistawasis Bridge

This West Bank local hike will start in the parking lot for Meewasin Park, follow the trail along the river and behind the water sewage treatment plan, continue on mountain biking trails along the river to Chief Mistawasis Bridge, and return on the Meewasin trail back to the parking lot. Total distance is 10+ kms.

Most of the trail is flat, but there are a few ups and downs on the mountain biking trails. Part of the trail is exposed and could be windy, part is in woodlands and shady.

Bring water and snacks and dress for the weather. We will meet in the parking lot for Meewasin Park, Spadina Crescent East, between Ravine Drive and Pinehouse Drive, just after a bend of the river to the left, and on the right side of the road. There are washrooms in the building there which should be open.
