LAST Card Social - Card and Coffee Group (1:15-5:30 pm)

The final card event until next winter. All skill levels welcome BUT you (and your guest) need to have attended at least ONE cards and coffee from Oct - April

Everyone will choose 2-3 games to play (from a list sign up of past games taught). With various choices it will work no matter the numbers (you just may not get your first choice) So come at 12 to have a better chance of signing up for your favourite games!

There is no cost to this event EXCEPT you must buy a food AND drink item to support the business who is providing us this great space for FREE. (Parking lot on side, entrance wheelchair accessible. Bus route 11) There will be alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks for purchase as well as pub food and chips. Support local! NO outside food and drinks please and NO hats please (legion)

Plan: IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

12-1:15 - Arrive and sign up for 2 games if you need to leave by 4:15 pm or 3 games if you can stay until 5:30 pm. NO signing up for the same game twice and no signing up for both crib and kaiser. Grab drinks/ food/ socialize/play cards/pool/ shuffleboard

1:30-2:45- Will make an announcement and everyone sits at the table of their first signed up game. Refresh/teach rules as needed (rules on table) and play as many hands or games as time allows.

15 minute break to grab drinks and food

3:00-4:15 - Everyone sits at the table of their second signed up game. Teach/play. Some people will be leaving at the end of this round.

4:15-5:30 - Those who signed up to stay until the end will sit at the table of their third signed up game. Teach/play.

5:30 - Help stack chairs/clean as the club closes at this time.

*Please note I ask that you send me a message 1 week before the event confirming your attendance and if you are staying until 4:15 or 5:30. This is to help me decide what games to pick based on numbers AND if not enough players sign up we will have to cancel as this social needs 20 + players for it to work well.
