Expert Cards and Coffee (3:30-5:30 pm) (lesson given)

Calling all card lovers-from beginner to expert- who enjoy visiting and playing. We will be playing the whist game of Shelem. (4 player partner) This is expert as without good strategy you lose badly especially as you need to learn how to bid BUT it is easy to play. If you enjoy a faster pace, you would like the next lesson more as we only do a quick refresher lesson whereas Sunday we practice with open hands talking strategy before we play.

Please read the rules to attend as people need to be on time and reliably show up as cards requires specific numbers.

Rules to attend: Please arrive on time. 24 hours of fewer BEFORE the event if you cancel that is ok BUT you MUST message me as people are added to the going list automatically. If on the wait list check often as there is a good chance you can go due to cancellations. If you are added within 24 hours of the event I will message you but if you do NOT message back I will give the opportunity to someone else.

There is no cost to play BUT I do ask that each player buys a drink and/or food item to support the business who so graciously reserves a table for us to play.

The plan:

3:30 visit, relax, order food or drinks. There is a big table reserved for us at the entrance.

3:45 Will learn by doing four open practice hands of Shelem so everyone practices bidding last talking strategy then play not keeping score so you can more aggressivd bid to see if you would make it.

4:30- We will have a 5 min then we will play again and keep score.
