Meet at 11:15 at the BACK of the visitor center (follow the path to the left of the parking lot, go inside grab some free seed to feed chickadees and exit out the back doors to the beautiful view and benches)
We will leave at 11:30 that way if someone is stuck at the train crossing or needs to use the bathroom or wants to take pics or look at the visitor center people have time before we go.
We will just be walking the easy path so all fitness levels welcome as long as you are good with stairs as there are quite a few along the way. We will be enjoying the beauty of fall and stopping for feeding chickadees/ taking pictures rather than walking quickly. Dress warm (supposed to be windy - which may lessen the Chickadee experience sadly) and wear good shoes with grip as with night frost the trail is a little tacky.
Afterwards, for those who want to join us - bring cash or card as we will stop for an hour for Cider at Crossmount which is on the route back into the city. They should have hot cider to warm us up (usually they have it this time of year) and they have snacky items like nachos and hot dogs.
