What we’re about
Sasquatch Club is a writing collective focused on generating, revising, and getting your short fiction published. If you're a short story writer looking for a group to keep you accountable from ideation to publication, check out Sasquatch Club!
We meet weekly for focused writing time and discussion, hold monthly themed writing contests, and regularly exchange thoughtful, constructive feedback on short fiction. Support is shared through all steps of creation, revision, and submission to publishing markets.
Sasquatch Club members are also avid readers and devoted learners. We regularly discuss a wide variety of books, share resources on the craft of writing, and attend literary events and lectures in the greater Seattle area.
Writers of all genres are welcome, though we do lean literary and weird (literary horror, speculative fiction, post-modernism, surrealism, absurdism, cross-genre works, etc.). Unfortunately, this is probably not the right group for writers of YA, fan-fiction, or exclusively long-form works.
If you're interested in elevating your short fiction in a supportive, driven community of creative professionals, try Sasquatch Club!
