Bring your laptop & learn: Sass 201 - Intermediate Mixins

The meetup will build up on the topics covered in the Sass 101 session

We'll learn about using more complex mixins to make reusable tools for your Sass projects.

We'll review these topics:

• Writing your own basic mixins with conditional logic and placeholders
• Mixins vs Extends
• Sass Maps & Lists.
• Putting it all together to manage stuff like css icons, and colours palettes in your projects.

Depending on the time remaining we can review how some 3rd party libraries are engineered to see just how amazing/complex these tools can get.

Don't forget to bring your laptop! (You can follow along on screen, but learning hands-on is much easier) No special setup is required as we'll be working in sassmeister.com.
