Azure Web Sites 101 w/PHP and .Net Web Forms

Microsoft has been making a strong push into the cloud with services for Developers recently. If you haven't explored Azure Web Sites yet, this session will help you understand how you can take advantage of this free service. Microsoft MVP and Microsoft Press Author Tom Resing will give an overview of Azure Web Sites and give some practical examples of how he's made use of the service with both PHP and .Net Web Forms living on the same web site at http://tomresing.com

Parking and Directions:

FREE parking is available in the Weston Centre Parking garage.

The Weston Centre is at 112 E Pecan St, but the parking garage is on the west side (Soledad St). Head up the "Public Parking" ramp. When you leave, the gate will be open for exit and you won't have to pay anything.

From the garage, take the elevator to the ground floor. Go through two sets of double doors and enter the main large foyer. The elevators are ahead on the left, and Geekdom is on the 11th floor.
