Build your own expertise finder copilot using Teams AI library and .NET

Details
Many of us use Teams every day for work (... do any of you use it for fun?) and it has a LOT of extensibility capabilities. In this talk, we'll go over some of the out-of-the-box templates and tools that are available to extend Teams and make a semi-useful helper bot using Azure OpenAI, C#, and your friendly neighborhood organizational M365 account. We'll go through all the steps together, make some mistakes, and I'll prove that you don't need Python to do fun AI stuff. Note: If you want to follow along, you'll need Visual Studio, an active Azure subscription, and your own M365 sandbox (request through your Visual Studio subscription benefits: Set up a Microsoft 365 developer sandbox subscription | Microsoft Learn) or special permissions in your company organization (Manage custom app policies and settings - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn).
