My favorite part of the week has always been Saturday coffee. There's something about being unnecessarily caffeinated that's just awesome. You're not drinking coffee to get through the workweek or to study; you're just drinking coffee to enjoy it. I thought it'd be a fun idea to get a Meetup group going that meets at a different coffee shop every Saturday morning to socialize. This'll give you the opportunity to meet new people and try out some of the local coffee shops in the Spring/Woodlands area.
I plan to host these coffee socials every Saturday from 9:00-11:00 AM, however, you can stay for as long or as short as you'd like. Everyone is welcome! Come by and say hi!
Also, I'd love to hear from you all if you have any good coffee spots you'd like the group to visit in the future; let me know. Thank you!
**Group Rules**
I don't have many rules, but here are the 4 major ones to highlight:
- No sexual harassment. Anyone who engages in persistent, unwanted sexual advances will be permanently removed from our Meetup group and reported to Meetup.
- No racism, sexism, or rudeness. This group was created to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Anyone who engages in racist, sexist, or otherwise rude or offensive behavior toward other members will be removed from the group.
- No pets at our coffee socials (with the exception of service animals). While we love furry friends, allowing animals introduces potential legal and safety risks — especially if pets interact in unpredictable ways. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in leaving pets at home.
- No solicitation at our coffee socials. This behavior includes (but is not limited to) handing out flyers, pitching services, or recruiting for outside groups.
While these are the main rules of the group, please keep in mind that as the Meetup organizer, I can still remove/ban members at my discretion. Thank you for your cooperation!
