🗾 Japanese for Beginners: Your First Hour – Live Class for Complete Beginners
A live one-hour Japanese class on Zoom for complete beginners. We start from hello, everything is explained in English, and you speak from the first minutes.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Order a drink, ask how much it is and pay
- Introduce yourself the polite Japanese way
- Count from 1 to 10 and understand simple prices
- Ask people to slow down or repeat when you get lost
- Tell hiragana and katakana apart and read a few simple words
Every phrase comes with romaji, so you don't need to read Japanese yet.
You repeat together with the whole class (nobody is singled out), then practise in small breakout rooms of 2 or 3. Afterwards your phrase sheet with a pronunciation guide stays in your account.
At most 12 people. Camera optional, nothing recorded, so feel free to get things wrong.
