Ghost Stories: Haunted City of London Pub Crawl

The cold wind races through London's streets. The gloom reaches out long fingers to catch you as you walk quickly around dark corners. The veil thins and the time approaches...

...for the second annual SMFC City of London haunted pub crawl!

Being the oldest part of London at over 2000 years old, the City has more than its share of reported hauntings. We'll be stopping to take in the spooky ambience of many atmospheric spots, but more importantly, we'll be seeking our 'spirits' of choice in some of the many haunted pubs of the area while we listen to some grisly tales.

From Holborn to Blackfriars, Fleet Street to Farringdon, Barbican to Liverpool Street and more, we'll be going ALL over the City, one spectre at a time.

Some important information:
-Attendants must be over 18, no exceptions. Please bring valid ID.
-We will be doing a lot of walking, so please wear comfy footwear and warm clothes.
-We may be using some public transport on the day where it's efficient to do so, so please ensure you arrive with a topped up oyster card or contactless card.
-Eat beforehand! Not only may you be partaking in alcohol (although this is by no means mandatory), this is also a long event at around 6 hours. While you are encouraged to purchase bar snacks wherever they are available, we will not be able to stop for a larger meal.
-For those who will be consuming alcohol: please ensure you pace yourself, know your limits and stick to them, as we will NOT be able to be responsible for you should you overimbibe.
-Please note that you do not have to complete the full event; if you feel unable to continue at any point or for any reason, please take care of yourself and we'll see you at another event :-)
