This group is for anyone curious about rucking, from complete beginners to experienced ruckers who already carry weight. If you’ve never tried it before, you are in the right place.

Rucking is simple: walking with weight in a backpack. You do not need special gear to begin. A regular backpack and a couple of books is enough to get started.

We’ll be gathering at Wompatuck State Park, a beautiful place to walk, breathe, build strength, and enjoy the outdoors together. This group is not about ego, speed, or proving anything. It’s about showing up, moving at your own pace, and building consistency over time.

Whether your goal is better fitness, fresh air, accountability, resilience, or just finding a healthy community, you are welcome here. We believe simple movement can be powerful, and that getting stronger does not have to be complicated.
