Picture this. Its a Saturday Morning and you had a tough week. You want to go riding but you don't want to wake up from your bed, eat breakfast, get dressed and then travel to wherever the big bike club destined to start a ride this week. You are tired and want to sleep in or if your a Sabbath Keeper you're on your way to church. Well now there is a riding group with you in mind. The Saturday Afternoon Bike Club is for those of us who want to ease into the weekend and truly enjoy our Saturdays and Sundays. We are an affiliate group of Each One Reach One Cycling out of Bowie MD.
We will meet Saturday Afternoon at Jafe Cycling Store and typically do 20-30 mile bike rides. Sometimes the rides will be on the WB and A trail and other times it will be on the roads.

If it your desire to RACE THIS IS NOT YOUR RIDE. This is for all riders who want to have a nice casual ride to enjoy the evening. There are many stressors that we occur on a daily basis, this cycling ride is a de-stressors, a way to end the day on a good note.Safety Notices
There are at least two to three ride marshals per ride. For you safety we strongly request your adherence to their guidance.Riders are not to PASS the Lead Marshall.
The Lead Marshall Maintains the Pace of the ride.
Only the Marshals Shall Give Instructions or Directions.
Failure to Adhere to the Marshals or Seeking to Usurp The Marshall During the Ride will result IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE.All participants ride at your own risk.

EORO- 10 Commandments -Plus One ( Ride Rules)
1. Please bring at least two tubes to replace in case you get a flat. If you get a flat we will assist you. Signal to the Marshal nearest to you. WE ALL STOP for a flat tire.2. Helmets are required. No Helmet No Ride.
3. No Egos At All - If you need a break WE WILL WAIT FOR YOU-
4. No don't ask us to leave you because we won't.
5. We Don't drop riders. EVER-
6. We have Rear and Front Marshals Please follow their directions. If you don't follow the instructions given by the marshal (Especially the ones dealing directly about Personal Safety Such as getting out of the way of a rear approaching vehicle ((Car Back- Means Move Right)) You will be ASKED TO LEAVE.
7. We DON'T run Red Lights.
8. DRESS BRIGHTLY.
9. YOU MUST EAT BEFORE EACH RIDE- It takes energy to burn energy.
NO WAY you are going to do this without food in your system. Also bring any snacks that you have tried and tested to work as supplements for your ride.10. You must bring MORE THAN WATER. WATER ALONE WILL NOT WORK! You will NEED at least Two Insulated Water Bottles with Electrolyte Mix for this and every EORO ride.
11. Bring ID, Cash, Credit Card so if you need to purchase something you will have the funds to do so. I keep at least 20 Dollars Cash Just in Case a Register or Point of Sale Doesn't Work.
