Bicycle Hilton Head Beach starting at Burkes Beach.

Bicycle the beach on the North end of Hilton Head beach at low tide.

We'll park/meet at the intersection of Burkes Beach Rd and Castnet Drive. You can park in Chaplin Community Park (free parking). From there we'll jump onto the sand at Burkes Beach and head north up the beach and around the point. We'll go as far as we can and then head back down the beach the way we came.

Hilton Head beach is an awesome place to bike especially at low time. You'll need a fatter tire bike such as a Mountain, Hybrid or Cruiser type bike for this ride on the packed sand. A skinny tire, road bike will not work on the trip. This bike ride will be around 8 miles on packed beach sand.
