Tune into bird communications and interpret the message they are sending! Are you ready to discover the messages hidden in the world of birds? Identifying bird species songs and calls can be complicated, but there are patterns across all of the species to communicate safety, danger and more.

Save Texas Streams Executive Director, Lee Burton, will be explaining the science and art of bird language, including how to recognize these complex behaviors, eavesdrop on the conversations between species, and develop the ability to:

Identify predators and their movements based on 'shapes' of alarms.
Increase your awareness and minimize disturbance in wildlife areas.
Decode the meaning of silence in the forest and what causes it.
Experience your role in the interconnected communication web of all creatures.

We hope you will join us for this fascinating glimpse into the world of our feathered friends! Feel free to arrive early between 6:30 and 7 pm to socialize and order a drink or a bite to eat. The talk will begin at 7pm and last roughly an hour.
