About our Speaker
Carl Garrett has been in the mortgage business since moving to Charlottesville in 1998, and currently works as a loan officer with Movement Mortgage. In 2001 he was chosen as affiliate of the year by the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors, and he served on Virginia Housing’s Homeownership Advisory Board from 2019 through 2024. A fun fact about Carl is that he won a major national screenwriting competition in 2010 and even had a Hollywood manager for a year. His areas of expertise include investor loans, resort condos, and first time buyer loans.
