Establishing What “Good” Means, with Performance Continuums
Details
I feel privileged to introduce Dan Klyn to our SB UX meetup in May! Dan is the co-founder of The Understanding Group (TUG), (http://understandinggroup.com/) lecturer in Information Architecture at the University of Michigan, and current IAI Board Member.
Dan will bring his upcoming MidWest UX talk to Santa Barbara. In this talk he will share a case study how the IA work at TUG typically conclude the discovery phase of a project with an "alignment session". The objective of this session is to develop understanding and consensus within the core client team on key matters of business and experience strategy. Dan will explain to us in detail how the methodology emerged, the historical context and the guidelines for using it in UX work.
Hope to see you at RightScale's new HQ office (and big thanks to RightScale for providing the venue and drinks)! Pizza will be served, courtesy of lynda.com.
Josh Morse at RightScale also created for us this UX map for parking instructions. You might want to check it out (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=202600527458665114512.0004be88dad353cdb0de1&msa=0) before you come:)
