Rimga will be discussing the why, what and how of Solana Beach’s new Single-Use Plastics ordinance and what changes local restaurants, food vendors, stores and customers can expect. She will also discuss when the ordinance will go into effect and what business have to do to comply.
Who is Rimga Viskanta?
Rimga is a Senior Management Analyst in the City Manager’s office working on various Environmental Sustainability issues for the City. She has a BA in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia and a Master’s in Public Administration from USC. Rimga has worked in the public sector, including various governmental agencies and nonprofits, for 25 years in various roles from management consulting to elected official and now in her current capacity in local government.
