South Burnaby Garden Club: Meet, Learn & Plan Your 2026 Garden

Whether you have a sprawling backyard or a few pots on a balcony, the South Burnaby Garden Club invites you to our first meeting of 2026!

Why join us this month?
February is the perfect time to dream. While the ground is still cold, our club is warming up! This meeting is a dedicated space to connect with fellow local gardeners and start planning for the year ahead.

What to expect:

• Ask an Expert: Our longtime members have a wealth of knowledge about Burnaby’s specific soil and climate. If you are a novice gardener, bring your questions!
• Community Connection: This is a "no-pressure" meeting with no show bench—just a great chance to meet your neighbors and share a love of all things green.
• Planning for 2026: Get a head start on what to plant when, and hear what the club has in store for the coming year.
• ​Seed & Seedling Swap: Have extra seeds from last year or a tray of seedlings you over-planted? Bring them along! It’s a wonderful way to diversify your garden for free and share your favorite varieties with neighbors.

• When: Tuesday, February 3, 2026 @ 7pm
• Where: Bonsor Recreation Centre
• Cost: $10 for non-members (payable in cash at the door).
