Can you design a garden masterpiece inspired by a storm? ❄️🌊⚡

Join the South Burnaby Garden Club for a unique evening of creativity, community, and practical gardening skills! Whether you are a seasoned florist or a first-time gardener, this event is designed for you.

🎨 The Main Event: The Showbench Challenge We are inviting everyone to participate in our monthly Judged Showbench! This isn't just for experts—it's a celebration of your unique perspective.

  • The Theme: Spring Weather Disasters
  • Your Mission: Create a floral design or garden exhibit based on one of these prompts:
  • Snow on the Coquihalla: A vertical design using white flowers.
  • Atmospheric Rivers: A design showing movement and flow.
  • Power Outages: Your creative interpretation of life without electricity.
  • La Niña: A compact design (must fit within a 9-inch cube).
  • No Perfect Garden Needed: Use what you have! Branches, grasses, dried elements, or fresh blooms all count. We want to see your creativity, not a perfect rose bush.
  • Bring Your Entry: Everyone is encouraged to bring an exhibit. It’s a wonderful way to share your passion and get inspired by neighbors.

🔧 Bonus: Mobile Tool Sharpening (Be-Sharp!) Is your equipment getting dull? Don't struggle with rusty blades!

  • Service: Professional sharpening for garden tools and kitchen knives.
  • Pricing:
  • Pruners (Bypass): $12 | (Anvil): $15
  • Loppers: 15–20
  • Garden Shears: $24
  • Kitchen Knives: $12+
  • Payment: Cash preferred (proceeds support our club!).
  • Note: If he can't finish everyone, he will return in April!
