SCFS Saluda River Paddle

Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025 @ 10 am (Hwy 34 at Saluda River. I can not get an exact location. You may have to put in Buzzard’s Roost Hydro to get the general location. We will be using the EAST entrance).

Saluda River (Buzzard’s Roost to Hwy 39)

This is a secluded stretch of water starting just below the Lake Greenwood Dam. River miles are 7.3 miles and should take 3-4 hours.

This river is rated for everyone. First timers are very welcome to join. The river is mostly flowing flat water with a few ripples. The put in requires a 0.2 mile flat walk through grass, so bring wheels if you have them, if not, we will drag and carry.

The shuttle is very short at around 10 min one way.
