Broad River Day Trip or Overnight

Hello Fellow Adventurers, I realize it's short notice but I needed to get confirmation that my Healthcare co-caregiver schedule covered my absence Fri-Sat.

If anyone would like to join me on an overnight kayak and Camp on the Broad River from NC into SC. Approximately a 15-mile trip. This could be a long day trip for some but I'm going to paddle 8 then 7 like we've done on the Great Peedee. I will start at 126 Broad River Dr, Shelby, NC 28152, and take out at BIG BAY ACCESS in Gaffney, SC The weather will be mid-80s to low-60s at night. This event was scheduled last fall but due to the destruction in the area from Hurricane Helena Sept 27, 2024, this event was canceled. I've rescheduled as a solo event but I welcome any SCFS member who will be up for this challenge to join me.
