Hello friends, members Rick and Betsy Agar have graciously again offered their beautiful home. located on Clouds Creek as our November 22nd MEETUP.
Clouds Creek is a tributary of Little River located in the western end of Lake Murray in Saluda County. Approximately 30mins from Lexington or 20mins from Newberry.
This MEETUP location has a firepit and a grill for our use. The creek will be easily accessible via a kayak launch attached to Rick and Betsy's dock.
We will launch and paddle approximately 2 miles into Clouds Creek as far as we can, then return. Clouds Creek is a calm and peaceful flatwater rural creek. It is a local creek that during the sandala change brings fall follage on the water.
Bring a bag/camp chair and relax after paddling and enjoy lunch with friends. As in the past, bring your favorite grill item and BYOB. Tempts by late November should be comfortable. Dress accordingly.
