Westridge-Canyonback Loop hike. 5 miles, 1100 feet elevation, 2.5 hours. Meet at Upper Canyonback Trailhead at 8:00 AM near the eastern firegate. Join us for a moderately paced hike in LA’s “Big Wild.” We’ll head down Upper Canyonback trail, which features sweeping canyon views to the west and downtown LA to east, until we reach Mandeville Canyon. We’ll turn and come back up by way of Westridge Trail, passing by the old Nike missile tower and its panoramic views. Bring 2 liters water, snacks, sunblock, sturdy footwear, hat. No dogs.

At the trailhead, participants will need to sign a participation waiver, which can be reviewed ahead of time.
