AWS Lambda and Scala: friends or foes?

Scala Bcn is back the first week of March!
Erik Torres is gonna give a really nice talk about how to combine AWS Lambda and Scala!

Join us for some fun learning and share your experiences and doubts afterwards in nice and friendly conversations (and some nice beers and pizza too!) with community members.

The talk will be given in English, but most of the community also speaks Spanish so don't feel discouraged! There's space for everyone here.

Talk Abstract
We have been using AWS Lambda in production for the last three months. The path to get there has not always been a smooth one and many problems have arisen on a journey that is certainly no easy ride.

In this talk we would like to share our experience of creating sustainable AWS Lambda functions with Scala. We will present libraries, code samples and tools to help other developers to write AWS Lambda functions in Scala.

We hope we can foster an open-minded discussion that will give everyone more options for their future decisions.
