Scala Fundamentals

Details

Overview

This workshop is an introduction to the Scala programming language. The intended audience are PHASE members who:

• are new to Scala

• have prior programming experience in one or more other languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Ruby, etc.)

• wish to learn more about Scala

After the workshop, you'll have a better understanding of Scala, and you'll be prepared to dig deeper into the language and its ecosystem.

A single 1-day intro workshop cannot possibly turn you into a Scala expert, but it will demystify the language, acquaint you with its basic principles, and get you going.
