This Scale-up Greece meetup will be dedicated to the story of AbZorba Games, a gaming company acquired by GreenTube/Novomatic in February 2015.

[Manos Moschous](https://www.linkedin.com/in/moschous/), the [AbZorba Games](https://abzorbagames.com/) co-founder and CTO will share his reflection on a journey which started with experimenting on real-time mobile video streaming in the early 2000s, reached the level of one of the most popular gaming apps in the world, achieved an exit and still continuous very successfully.

As usually, doors will open at 6:30pm and the even will start at 7pm. Presentations and Q&A are expected to last for an hour, following by the usual Scale-up Greece networking session over wine, cheese, pizza and beers.

Manos Moschous is a co-Founder and the CTO of AbZorba Games.

AbZorba Games was acquired by Novomatic Interactive (Greentube) in 2015.

Manos is a passionate tech entrepreneur, innovator, executor, leader with more than 15 years of experience, always eager to turn a problem solving into a business opportunity. Effective communicator and motivator of teams to reach goals. Chief Technology officer who oversees his organisations technical development and implementation of new technologies, always leveraging technology to support the company's long-term financial and growth targets.

Manos is also a Business Angel Investor trying to help other entrepreneurs to scale up their startups.

Manos was the creator of AbZorba’s flagship casino title ‘Live BlackJack 21′ on Android which attained Top 10 US App Store ranking in ‘Cards & Casino Games’ category. That success gave Manos the perspective to design and build the team delivering the full suite of multiplayer social casino titles and the ‘Hub of Fun’ mobile casino.
Previously, Manos was the Co-Founder and CTO of a successful Greek start-up MVNS which was a pioneer in creating Mobile Social Games targeting Carriers in Europe.

Manos has graduated from the computer science department of University of Crete in 2003 and received his master degree from the same department, two years later. After that, he held the position of staff member at the Distributed Computing Systems Laboratory (FORTH-ICS) while participating in many research industrial projects. His research interests back in these days mainly included Device Independence for Mobile Devices and the development of Live Multiplayer Social Games.
